In July 2024, our company received an inquiry from a New Zealand customer, and the customer simply told that a gantry crane was needed. Through repeated communication between our business personnel and the customer, the customer provided a workshop map and the materials and working frequency that needed to be improved. In the end, our technology recommended a double-beam small gantry based on the customer's existing workshop situation. After internal negotiations with the customer, an agreement was finally reached. A 50% deposit was paid in advance and put into production.

Basic components of a small double-beam gantry:

Machine bed: As the main structure of the entire machine tool, it provides sufficient rigidity and stability.

Double beam: two parallel beams, carrying components such as the workbench and spindle box. The beams are usually made of castings or welded structures to ensure high rigidity.

Workbench: installed between the two beams, used to place the workpiece. The workbench can generally move in the X and Y directions.

Spindle box: install the spindle motor and spindle bearings, and provide a high-speed rotating spindle.

CNC system: provides CNC functions, controls the movement of each axis and the speed of the spindle and other parameters.

Lubrication system: ensures that all key parts are well lubricated.

Cooling system: provides cutting fluid circulation to reduce heat during processing.

Protective cover: protects the safety of operators and isolates cutting dust, etc.

Accessories: such as automatic tool changers, machine tool probes and other functional accessories.
