The structure of the European electric hoist is mainly composed of a motor, a transmission mechanism, a drum or a sprocket. It can be divided into four types according to the relative positions of the motor and the drum or sprocket:
(1) Electric hoists whose motor axis is perpendicular to the axis of the drum or sprocket use a worm gear transmission, which has a bulky structure and low efficiency, and is rarely used.
(2) The electric hoist whose motor axis is parallel to the axis of the drum or sprocket adopts a helical gear transmission device with compact structure, large width and large turning radius.
(3) The electric hoist with the motor installed inside the drum or sprocket adopts a planetary gear transmission device, which has a simple structure and small length, but has poor heat dissipation conditions and inconvenient maintenance.
(4) The electric hoist with the motor installed outside the drum or sprocket adopts a cylindrical gear transmission device, which has a reasonable structure, high versatility and easy maintenance.
The advantages of European-style gourds are as follows:
1. The electric hoist is light in weight and can reduce the weight of the workshop or workshop.
2. European electric hoists can freely run to any part of the industrial site, which greatly increases the area of the project.
3. The height of the European electric hoist is very small. Since the mechanical structure is different from the layout type, the transmission mechanism uses a high-speed motor and a hard tooth surface reduction system. The small gap can reach the so-called low gap, and the lifting height reaches the corresponding height.
4. European electric hoists have the characteristics of high assembly accuracy, convenient transportation and long service life.
